Nationwide Crivelli Insurance donated $3 for every three point basket made during the Turlock High boys basketball season. Lori Crivelli presented a check to Alek Carlson, Cristian Jimenez and Doug Cornfoot in the amount of $258.

Hoping success is hereditary, Pitman High on Tuesday promoted Braden Plaa — son of Downey High’s Jeremy Plaa — to be their next football coach.
