Crosstown Cup winners… again
It’s beginning to seem like an annual tradition where the Turlock High boys golf team invites more than a dozen programs from around the region to Turlock Golf and Country Club to beat them. It happened again on Monday.
The reigning, undefeated champion Bulldogs took home the hardware from the all-day event by shooting a combined 14-under-par. They were powered by a 9-under-par performance from the trio of San Jose State-bound Christian Maggard, Carter Van Gaalen and Ezekiel Roque. The grouping of Logan Bream, Thomas Manotok and Daniel Joseph shot a combined 5-under-par.
The ‘Dogs will be back at TGCC on Wednesday afternoon when they face off against Pitman, looking for a third straight match win over a conference opponent.
