Pitman High outstanding track athlete Damian Garcia signed his Letter of Intent to attend Chico State on Monday afternoon in front of the Pitman track. Athletic Director Dave Walls called Garcia "one of the most decorated athletes in school history.” He has a long list of accomplishments and some of the highlights include being one of the few Pride runners to compete in the state competition and winning all the events of this year's county meet. 

"When I was a freshman, I didn't think I would be going to college to run," said Garcia. "I was inspired by my dad and my family, and I just continued to get better."
