Football teams from Turlock, Pitman, Hilmar and Denair high schools put the finishing touches on preparations for the 2022 season, which officially kicks off Friday night. 

Pitman football

The Bulldogs competed in a scrimmage with Central Catholic and Buhach Colony, while the Pride and Yellowjackets took part in a scrimmage at Atwater High. 

Hilmar football

The Coyotes, meanwhile, traveled to Modesto to take on Big Valley Christian.
