Mayor Amy Bublak brings the same skill and determination to improve Turlock governance that made her a great athlete and police officer.  She cares about the quality of life for Turlock’s citizens and has a proven record of working harder and smarter to make Turlock a better place to live and work.  

She’s reorganized city staff to provide more efficient and responsive services, hired more firefighters and provided them upgraded equipment and vehicles.  She’s also hired more police officers to combat crime and equipped officers with body cameras to improve accountability.  She has reduced the size of homeless encampments, streamlined the road repair process, and lowered utility rates for garbage and surface water.  Mayor Bublak is a creative, tough, and fair leader — exactly what Turlock needs to thrive during tough times.
