As a recent visitor to your community I wanted to write to share my appreciation for the warm welcome we received.  This past weekend, I, along with our university softball team traveled to Turlock from Canada to participate in the Cal State Stanislaus Tournament of Champions.  It has been a number of years since our team has participated in this event and given our experience this year I am confident we will return again and again. 

All that we encountered from the tournament organizers (shout out to Jan and her staff from CSUS) to the local business and residents, were very welcoming and made our trip a success both on and off the field.  In our short stay we got to see some of your city and have left with a very favorable impression of your sport facilities, university and of course the people, all of which I suspect you should be very proud of.  So on behalf of the Simon Fraser University softball team, I thank any and all who's paths we crossed and added to our time in your community.
