Wilma Ann Bishel passed away peacefully on May 8, 2013, at Emanuel Medical Center after a brief illness.  She was born on August 3, 1928, to William  and Ella Pearl Isham in Hanford, California.  She moved with her parents to Fresno where she met her husband, Lee Bishel.  In 1948, Wilma and Lee were married and settled in Madera where they farmed for over 30 years.  Upon Lee’s death, Wilma moved to Chico, where she lived for several years.  She then moved to Turlock where she resided for nine years.  She is preceded in death by her parents, William Muncie Isham and Ella Pearl (Bishop) Isham, and her beloved husband, Lee Bishel.  She is survived by two children, Linda (Dan) Mitchel of Orland, and Tom (Jan) Bishel of Turlock.   She is also survived by four grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
A grave side service will be held on May 13, 2013, at 10:00 a.m.,  at Arbor Vitae Cemetery, 1301 Roberts Avenue, Madera, California.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Valley Children’s Hospital, Fresno, CA.
