Warren “Bud” Nelson, 94, lived a long life and went to be with Jesus on Christmas Day. Born in Wilmar, Minnesota at home in 1923, Bud was the youngest of 4 children. The family moved to California while Bud was still a toddler. Bud, a dairyman for over 50 years, was a “country boy” through and through.  He was married to his wife Dorothy for over 66 years when she passed in 2012.  Bud was a very loyal husband. He was a generous and selfless man, not only with his wife but also with his neighbors, and would always help others out whenever needed. Bud is survived by his children Shirley (Jim) Demeny and Wes (Sally) Nelson, 3 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Bud is preceded in death by his beloved wife Dorothy, and siblings Malcolm and Bryon Nelson, and Elyn Gregg. In lieu of flowers please make a donation to Westside Ministries. A closed casket Visitation will be held Fri. Dec. 29, 2017 from 4-7 pm with a Funeral Service the next day at 10 am on Sat., Dec. 30, 2017, both at Allen Mortuary.
