Vynita Rose, age 85, of Turlock, CA passed away on December 24, 2013. Vynita was born in Lees Summit, Missouri to Fred and Merle Halcomb. She moved to California at a young age and lived in the Placerville area before the family moved to Patterson in the early 1940’s. Vynita married her high school sweetheart Anthony Rose in 1948. Vynita was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.  Vynita was active in many things, she loved her horses, painting, crafts and most of all her bowling. She was a member of the WIBC and ABC.
She is survived by the husband of 65 years, (Tony) Anthony Rose of Turlock, children Tom (Pat) Rose of Patterson, Carolyn (Mike) Mendonca of Denair. Grandchildren Anthony (Kaelyn) Mendonca  of Seattle and Joseph Mendonca (Cindy Wong) of Union City. Sisters Donna (Charlie) Del Nero and Betty Williams.
A Memorial service will be held at Turlock Memorial Park & Funeral Home, 425 N. Soderquest Rd, Turlock on Saturday, January 4, at 2 p.m.
