Truman R. Jensen was born on September 12, 1945, in Milltown, Wisconsin and later became a cherished resident of Turlock, California in 1949. He peacefully left this world on December 31, 2023, surrounded by the love of his family. Truman’s journey was deeply rooted in the Turlock community, where he lived his entire life and left an indelible mark as a beloved businessman and active member of various organizations.

In 1974, Truman embarked on a path that would shape the Turlock landscape for decades to come. He founded and operated Jensen Pest Control, proudly establishing it as the first pest control company in Turlock. Through his dedication and commitment to excellence, Truman earned the respect of the community he served. After nearly five decades of unwavering service, Truman retired in 2023, leaving behind a legacy of professionalism and community impact.

Beyond his professional life, Truman was an active and cherished member of several organizations. He found joy and camaraderie in his memberships with The Sons of Norway, Masons, and Shriners. Notably, Truman took delight in his role as a Shriners clown, spreading laughter and bringing smiles to those around him. His commitment to community service and the bonds formed within these organizations reflected Truman’s generous spirit and love for connecting with others.

Truman’s legacy is beautifully woven into the fabric of his family. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Barbara Jensen, his daughter, Roberta Rowe (Clayton), his son, Mathew Jensen (Stacy), stepdaughter Aubrey Perry (Pep), stepson Luke Henslick, six grandchildren, one great-grandson, two sisters, two brothers, as well as many nephews, nieces, and friends. Truman’s impact extended beyond bloodlines, creating a network of love and support that will endure.

While we mourn the physical absence of Truman, we celebrate a life well-lived and the countless memories that bring comfort to those who knew him. Truman was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, one sister, and one niece, leaving a void that will be filled with cherished recollections of his love and laughter.

A celebration of Truman’s life will be announced in the summer of 2024, providing an opportunity for friends, family, and community members to come together and honor the extraordinary man who left an indelible mark on Turlock.
