Thomas D. Robertson, 78, of Baldwin Park, passed away Friday at Methodist Hospital of Southern California in Arcadia. A prayer service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 22 at Hillview Funeral Chapel in Patterson. Interment to follow at Patterson District Cemetery in Patterson.
Mr. Robertson was a native of Louisiana and a resident of Baldwin Park and lived in the Los Angeles area for 13 years. He previously lived in Patterson and Turlock. He was an accountant for 30 years and served in the United States Army Corps. He served on the Del Puerto Hospital Board and was a member of the Screen Actors Guild. He wrote three novels, published Poetry in Canada and loved writing. He was an avid movie watcher.
Mr. Robertson is survived by his wife, Guiping (Jenny) Zhan of Baldwin Park; sons, Sean Garvey of Turlock and Tyler Robertson of Patterson; and five grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Patricia Robertson, who passed away in 1993.
