Soledad Garcia, 78 passed away on November 12, 2011 after a lengthy illness at Emanuel Medical Center, with family by her side.
She was born on March 30, 1933 in Francisco I. Madero, Nayarit Mexico, and had been a resident of Turlock for 60 years. She was a member of the Turlock Apostolic Assembly Church.
Even though mother fought a great battle with her illness her faith was always strong.
This is what gave her the strength to stay with us until the Lord said to mother, "It's time to come home with me and rest". Her love was her family and her family in Christ. But her greatest love was her grandchildren and her great-grand children. Mother was a loving and caring person who touched the hearts of many and will be very much missed.
She was preceded in death by her husband Angel Garcia Sr., her son Robert Garcia and son-in-law Hector Delgadillo Sr.
She is survived by her children, Lydia and (Alfonso) Campos, Soledad and (Benjamin) Celia, Connie and (Jose) Delgadillo-Orellana, Angel and (Debbie) Garcia Jr. and Adriana and (Serfin) Lopez. She is also survived by her grandchildren ad great grandchildren.
An evening service will be held at 7pm on Thursday, Nov. 17 at the Turlock Apostolic Assembly Church, 212 Lander Ave. A funeral will be held at 10am on Friday, Nov. 18 at Turlock Funeral Home, 425 N. Soderquist Rd. Turlock. Burial will follow at Turlock Memorial Park.
