Age 49 entered into rest at Emanuel Medical Center in Turlock, CA. He was a Former Lather Journeyman for construction for 25 years; he was a member of Covenant Church in Hilmar and Northern CA Carpenters Union Local 68 of South San Francisco, CA.  Survivors- Wife- Kristin Coleman-Scholes of Hilmar of 10 years, 2-Sons- Austin D. Scholes of Hilmar and his fiancée Laura V. Hall of Hilmar, Cameron J. Scholes of Tennessee, Step-son- Dustin Coleman of Hilmar, 3-Step-daughters- Alexis Coleman of Lancaster, Brittany Coleman of Hilmar and Tessa Coleman of Hilmar, Brother- Eric Scholes and his wife Laura of Redwood City, CA, Sister- Erin Scholes of San Mateo 1-Grandchild- Leah M Scholes, Preceded in death by his parents- Lee and Kathy Scholes. Visitation- 2PM-8PM, Thursday, September 1, 2011 at Whitehurst, Norton & Dias Funeral Chapel, Funeral Service-11AM, Friday, September 2, 2011 at Hilmar Covenant Church. Burial will be private.  In Lieu of Flowers donations can be made to Helping Hands, P.O. Box 684 Hilmar, CA. 95324.
