Sally Margaret Reed passed away peacefully at the age of 84. She was born to Clay and Eudora Jaynes in Turlock, California, one of four daughters. She attended Ballico Elementary and Livingston High School.
She married her husband of 59 years, James Reed, in March 1945. She was the Postmaster of Ballico, retiring after 25 years of service. Her life was spent working on the family farm and various group organizations including Ballico PTA, American Legion Auxiliary, the Delhi-Ballico Women’s Club, Four Seasons R.V. club and Job’s Daughters of Livingston, Bethel #65 and she was a member of Delhi Presbyterian Church.
She is survived by her daughter, Sandra Duree (Don) of Turlock, Ca, grandchildren Kelli Redman (Craig) of Turlock, Kerri Carr (Kurtis) of Turlock; daughter Sally Sue Sales (Brent) of Merced, Ca, grandchildren Wendy Ekizian (Erik) of Merced, Clay Carlson (Heather) of San Luis Obispo; son Tim Reed (Susan) of Ballico, Ca, grandchild Cort of Ballico, Ca. Great grandchildren, Luke, Kylee, Casey, Cooper, Austin, Brendan, Londyn, Chloe, Ava, and Samuel.   Sisters, Mary Ellen Himmelstoss and Ann Rowe. She was preceded in death by her husband James Reed and sister Eudora Kruppa. In Lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Delhi Presbytatian Church-Food Bank.
Services will be held at Allen Mortuary Chapel on Wednesday, January 30, 2013 at 10 am with interment to follow at San Joaquin Valley National Cemetery at 1 pm.  Please share your memories at www.AllenMortuary.com
