Russell Roselle, born on October 7, 1948, in Turlock, California, passed away peacefully on November 6, 2024, in Denair, California. He graduated from Turlock High School in 1965. After graduating, Russell was drafted into the Army and served between 1968 and 1969. He was a Vietnam Veteran. Later on, he worked for the U.S. Air Force. He dedicated his career to environmental protection, serving diligently as an environmental compliance inspector. During his time in the Air Force, Russell was stationed in Arizona and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology.
Russell had a lifelong passion for cars and model airplanes. He was also a proud member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) and the American Legion, reflecting his deep commitment to community and country.
He is survived by his sister, Pamela (David) Traylor; niece, Cori Traylor; nephew, Brandon Traylor; and great-niece and nephew, Morgan and Preston Lyon. Russell was preceded in death by his mother, Violet Roselle.
Private graveside services are pending. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the VFW in Russell’s honor, supporting a cause close to his heart and continuing his legacy of service.
