Beloved husband, father and grandfather, Rufino Guillen was called to his eternal life on Sept. 22, 2009.
Visitation will begin at 3 p.m., followed by a recitation of the Rosary at 6 p.m., on Sept. 27 at Turlock Funeral Home, 425 N. Soderquist Rd. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11 a.m. on Sept. 28, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 1200 Lyons Ave. in Turlock. Burial will follow at Turlock Memorial Park.
He was a dedicated family man, always thinking of others before himself. From his humble Mexican upbringing he came to the U.S. in search of a better life for his wife and children. Since then he has made Turlock his home.
He was a man who lived his life with integrity, honesty humility and happiness. He will forever live in our hearts.
He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Josefina Guillen; sons, Simon, Felipe and David; daughters, Antonia, Margarita, Connie and Rosa; and 28 grandchildren.
