Mary Louise Machado, 71, of Newman, passed away on May 15, 2011, in Turlock.

She was a beautician for 15 years and a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Los Banos.

She is survived by son, Frank A. Machado, Jr. of Los Banos; daughter, Laurie Ann DaSilva and her husband, Manuel, of El Nido; brother, Walt Borges of Kerrville, Texas; and sister, Marci Parreira of Gustine.

Visitation will be held from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Monday, May 23 at Whitehurst, Norton & Dias Chapel, 286 West Main St., Turlock. A Rosary/Vigil will be held at 7 p.m. on Monday, May 23, also at Whitehurst, Norton & Dias Chapel. It will be officiated by Father Alex Pacheco. A Mass will be held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, May 24 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 1545 Center Ave., Los Banos. It will be officiated by Father Daniel Avila. Burial will be at Los Banos Cemetery District, 16575 S. Center Ave., Los Banos.
