Mark William Selee, age 44, died suddenly of natural causes on November 22, 2015 in Camarillo, CA. Mark is survived by his wife and best friend of 19 years, Beth; his two boys, Alex (18) and Peyton (13); parents Ruth and Bill; and brother Bill. 

Mark was born on January 29, 1971 in Chelan, WA The family moved to California in 1972 and settled in Turlock. Mark enjoyed basketball and running track. After graduating from Turlock High School in 1989, Mark attended Modesto Junior College and later transferred to Chico State where he met his wife and graduated with a B.A. in Social Work.  He thereafter received his teaching credential from CSU Stanislaus. Mark taught elementary school for 14 years in Denair where he touched so many lives. 

Mark and Beth married in Lake Tahoe in 1996. They welcomed their first son Alex in 1997 and their second son Peyton in 2002.  Mark was a loving son, husband and dad. 

Mark was active within the community and had a passion for teaching and coaching. He taught at Denair Elementary School and coached baseball, basketball and soccer.

Mark was a loyal Pittsburgh Steelers and Pirates fan. His family and friends will always remember him as a fun, passionate, loving, generous and overall happy man. 

Visitation is Thursday, December 3 from 6:00–7:30 p.m. at Turlock Memorial Park. A Celebration of Life will be Friday, December 4 at New Life Christian Center at 1 p.m. Burial to follow at Lakewood Memorial Park in Hughson, CA.
