A memorial service for Lucille Johnson, 88, of Turlock, will be held at 10 a.m. on Sept. 17 at Berg Hall of Covenant Village in Turlock. She passed away on Sept. 11, 2009, at Covenant Care Center.
Lucille was born in Dawson, Minn. to Samuel and Ruth Bergman in 1921. She spent 35 years as an Evangelical Covenant missionary.
Lucille is survived by son, Richard Johnson of Portland, Ore.; daughter, Kristine Linquist of Chicago, Ill.; and son, Timothy Johnson of Gumma-ken, Japan.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Gordon Johnson; and daughter, Karen Pegors, of Auburn, Wash.
