Louis Dias Jr. “Sonny”, age 81, entered into rest on October 12, 2022 while surrounded by his loving family. 

He was born in Modesto, CA and lived his life in the central valley. 

He is survived by his two children - Desiree’ (Dan) Culbertson and Andrew (Briana) Dias, four grandchildren - Jaxon, Brook, Cameron, and Christian.

Louie was a man who enjoyed life to the fullest. He loved to get together and play cards and dominos, and frequent trips to Black Oak was a favorite. 

His past times included deer hunting, fishing, gardening (always very proud of the size of his onions) and sharing old stories - oh, how he loved to talk! 

After he no longer was able to hunt, he thoroughly enjoyed taking his grandchildren to see the elk at the San Luis Wildlife Refuge. 

He also took great pleasure going to horse pulls or a good rodeo. And he definitely couldn’t pass up a yard sale. But his simplest pleasure was sitting and watching his four grandchildren play.       

Services will be held at Turlock Memorial Park. The visitation is on Thursday, October 20th from 4 - 7 p.m. with the rosary at 6 p.m. Funeral services are Friday, October 21st at 2 p.m.
