Lisa Peacock, 39, of Turlock, went home to be with her Heavenly Father from Alexander Cohen Hospice House after a long illness. Lisa was born in Turlock to Wayne and Jayne Van Gaalen. She grew up in Turlock and graduated from Turlock Christian School in 1992.
Lisa was an excellent student athlete. She was named TCS’ MVP for basketball and volleyball for three years, was a cheerleader for two years, involved in Music Man and Anne Frank dramas and carried banners for TCS Marching Band. Lisa coached the TCS JV Volleyball Team in 1994 to a League Championship. Lisa was a beautiful, gentle, popular girl with many friends. She was dearly loved and will be greatly missed.
Lisa is survived by her husband Frank Peacock of Turlock, Step-son Trey Peacock, parents Wayne and Jayne Van Gaalen; siblings: Kris (Matt) Horn and Wayne (Amethyst) Van Gaalen, grandfather Len Van Gaalen, In-laws: Franklin Peacock and Jeanette Peacock, nieces and nephews: Ryan, Brandon, and Dylan Horn; Clark, Savannah, and Carter Van Gaalen, and several other extended family members.
A Memorial Service will be held at Monte Vista Chapel on Tuesday, Oct. 1st at 11 am. Private burial will be at Turlock Memorial Park. Memorial gifts are suggested for Turlock Pregnancy Center. Please leave memories and condolences at www.allenmortuary.com.
