Linda Chandler, 59, passed away Nov. 23 at Alexander Cohen Hospice House in Hughson after a brief battle with cancer. Her husband, Bob; daughter, Janielle; mother, Marie; brother, Richard; and sister, Judy of Kansas City, Mo. were at her bedside.
Linda was born in Kansas City, Mo. in September 1950. She moved to Southern California in 1976, and later to the San Jose area where she met Bob. They married in 1985. Linda, Bob and Janielle came to the Modesto area in September of that year, purchased a home and settled in Hilmar.
Linda worked for Valley Fresh in Turlock for a couple of years. She then worked in Real Estate as a loan processor and loan officer. Linda was disabled in a 2003 auto accident and retired in 2006, after suffering a heart attack.
Linda enjoyed her relationship with her friends at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Delhi and always looked forward to their visits.
Family and all who knew Linda are invited to a memorial service at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 28 at Allen Mortuary, 247 N. Broadway, Turlock.
