Laercio Jose Amorim, 54, of Turlock, died Dec. 29 at Emanuel Medical Center. Visitation will be held from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 4 at Whitehurst, Norton & Dias Funeral Chapel, 286 West Main St., Turlock. Services will be at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 5 at Whitehurst, Norton & Dias. Prayer service will be held at 6 p.m. on Monday, Jan 4 at the same location. Burial will be at Turlock Memorial Park.
Laercio was born Oct. 30 in Estado Minas Gerais, Brasil. He was a carpenter for 20 years. He enjoyed fishing, soccer, and being a great father.
He is survived by his wife, Marivete Dallorto Amorim of Turlock; son, Rafael Dallorto Amorim of Turlock; daughter, Bruna Dallorto Amorim of Turlock; brothers, Joaninho Amorim and Valderino Amorim, both of Brasil; sisters, Delma Carmo of Turlock and Ana Maria Amorim of Brasil; and two grandchildren.
Services under the direction of Whitehurst, Norton & Dias.
