Kirk Stinson passedaway at home surrounded by family on March 2 after enduring almost a decade of poor health.
Kirk loved his role as son, brother, friend, husband, father, and especially, grandpa.
He is survived by his wife of 34 years,Anita, three children,and two grandchildren. He leaves a sister, brother, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Kirk was preceded in death by his parents Bonnie and Ivan Stinson.Family was a very important part of his life.
Kirk enjoyed growing up in Turlock and participating in the Scouting Program, Little League, and his time on the THS football and wrestling teams.
He was a member of the Turlock First United Methodist Church.
Kirk graduated from THS in 1977 and furthered his education earning an AA degree in Ag Mechanics from Modesto Junior College.
Most of his working career was spent in the Stinson Farms almond business as a mechanic.
Kirk married the love of his life, Anita McClintock, in 1988. They raised their family in Hilmar and later in Turlock.
Kirk will be remembered as a sweet, kind, funny practical joker. His hearty laugh and ability to be positive through adversity will be missed and admired.
A Celebration of Life Service will take place on his birthday, March 14 at 3:00 pm, at Turlock First United Methodist Church, 1660 Arbor Way in Turlock.
