Kevin Richard Stach, 75, of Turlock, passed away at his home on April 12, 2105. He was born July 4, 1939 in Nezperce, Idaho. After graduating from high school in Olympia, Washington he came to California and worked at the General Motors plant in Fairfield. When the plant closed and moved to Missouri he relocated there and finished his career with GM. After retiring Mr. Stach moved to Turlock. Kevin was a dune buggy enthusiast and loved working on Volkswagens. He volunteered at the Turlock V.F.W. and enjoyed cooking for their dinners and events.
He is survived by his wife Brenda Stach, children, Angela McMullen, Craig Johnson, Robert Johnson, David Hunt, 8 grandchildren, brothers, Robert, Niel and Maurice Stach. He was preceded in death by a sister Claire and brothers, Adrian and Greg.
Visitation for Mr. Stach will be Thursday at Turlock Funeral home 3:00 PM to 6:00PM with recitation of the Holy Rosary at 6:00 PM. A funeral Mass will be celebrated Friday at 11:00 AM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with committal to follow at Turlock Memorial Park.
