Judy Porter-Barnett, 62, passed away surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Nebraska to Curtis and Marjorie Ely and later settled in Turlock, where she graduated from Turlock High School.
Judy loved her family and found enjoyment interacting with people in the community during her 15 years of work with the United Samaritans Foundation.
She is survived by her mother, Marjorie Ely of Turlock; son, Randy Barnett of Turlock; siblings, Joann (Jim) Lutz, Janie (Ed) Dickey and Dan (Margo) Ely; grandchildren, Kandace Barnett and Kayla Barnett; 13 nieces; and 14 nephews.
A celebration of life service will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 9 at the Enclave Community Church, 581 E. Canal Dr., Turlock. Reception to follow service.
