JM Moore, 83, passed away on Saturday. He was born to Floyd and Elizabeth Moore. He was raised on a farm in Berryville Arkansas. He was one of four children, three boys and one girl.
JM moved to California in 1950 and was soon drafted into the Army and served during the Korean War. While in Korea he was wounded and awarded the Purple Heart. He then settled back in California where he met and married his spouse Lola. He began working in the field of construction and was a member of the Laborers Union for 25 years. Not one to be idle for long he started his own business repairing welding equipment called M& L Repair. He continued to work until he suffered a stroke in 2003.
JM is survived by his wife Lola Moore, two daughters, Coleen Williamson and Margaret Lake of Modesto, two grandsons, Robby and Randy Moles of Hollister, four great grandchildren and a brother Floyd Moore of Berryville Ark.
