Jack Glenn Jr., 61, of Delhi, passed away at Emanuel Medical Center unexpectedly on Nov. 24.
Jack was a life-long Turlock resident. He was born in Modesto and graduated from Turlock High School in 1967. After graduation, he served in Vietnam in the U.S. Army. He was a decorated veteran with an Air Medal, Bronze Medal, M-16 Medal, Commendation Medal, and a Purple Heart for his service. He spent 10 years as a manager at Armour Packing Plant. In November of 2002, he was reunited with his high school sweetheart, Denise Clark. They have made their home in Delhi since that time.
Jack is survived by his fiancé, Denise Clark; her daughter, Laurie, and son-in-law, Tom Glenne Jr. of Delhi; three grandchildren; his sister, Patricia Glenn of Midland, Texas; and brothers, Doug Glenn of Victor, Mont. and Larry Dumford of Delhi.
A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. on Dec. 1 at Allen Mortuary in Turlock. A private inurnment will follow at a later date at San Joaquin Valley National Cemetery in Santa Nella, Calif.
