Jack was born in Turlock California to Jack A. Hansen from Bornholm Denmark and Thelma Peterson Hansen from Turlock. 

Jack married Connie Middleton in 1954 and they lived most of their 69 years together in Turlock where they raised their three daughters Sandra , Janelle, and Lori. 

They moved to Milton WA. in 2021 to be close to daughters living in the area. 

Jack enjoyed varied activities including wood working, fishing, hiking, backpacking, and especially photography.

Jack worked all of his adult life, for fifty years, in the Railroad industry as a responsible station agent for the Tidewater Southern Railway, then Western Pacific and finally Union Pacific.

Jack is survived by his daughters Sandra (Lisa) in England, Janelle, Lori (John) in Washington State. 

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife Connie less than 24 hours ahead of him, and son-in-law Raul Pinedo.

Jack had a strong faith and love for family. He was knowledgeable in many topics and had a mind for details. 

He was a kind man, a good husband, father and friend. He will be remembered with love and greatly missed. 

The family would like to thank all of our family and friends who have been so kind and helpful during his life and last days.
