Born in Arkansas to Acacie and Ratha Hance. She moved to California at a young  age.  She lived in Hughson approximately 70 years.  Helen attended Hughson High School and was a member of First Baptist Church in Hughson.  She is preceded in death by her parents and one daughter, Vicki Gentry.  She leaves behind two sisters, Pat (Ralph) Klatt of Misquete, Nevada and Shirley (Alvis) Lassiter of Delhi, California, one granddaughter, Teva (Bobby) Jackson of Paris, Arkansas.  Three great-granddaughter’s and one great-great grandson.  Memorial will be held Thursday, May 2, 2013 at 3:00 PM at the Village Chapel Church 1825 N. Central, Ceres, CA.
