Private services were held for Gwendolyn Marie Reno, 77, of Modesto.
She was born in Turlock to parents, Frank and Della. She was married to her husband, Fred, for 10 years and together they lived in Modesto. Her mom owned Della’s Dress Shop in Turlock for many years, where Gwen also worked. She was an accomplished pianist/organist and played for the radio station KTRV. Gwen enjoyed attending church, traveling, contributing to casinos, cooking, baking, and completing craft projects.
She is survived by her husband, Fred; children, Lori (Darlene Williamson) Gustafson of Modesto and Sherry (Sean) Balfour of Turlock; brother, Ron (Diane) von Rajcs of Carmichael, Calif.; and granddaughter, Jennifer Falk.
