Frank Shiba died peacefully after 91 full years of life.  He was born in Gilroy, CA to Gengoro and Mutsu Shiba, the youngest of 6 children, 3 brothers & 2 sisters, all of whom have preceded him in death. 
He married Mitsuyo Handa in 1945, moving to Turlock in 1950.  Frank worked for local poultry hatcheries including the Lindskoog, Soderstrom and Soderquist Hatcheries. He and Mitzi raised 6 children:  Allen (Sue) Shiba,  Beverly (Eric) Vanderlinden, Carol Cordeiro, Diane (George) Springer, Eileen (Gerald) Savelson, Florence (Jeff) Colby.  He also enjoyed 10 grandchildren:  Todd (Hilary); Kevin (Kira); Kendra (Chico); Travis, Ryan, Shannon (Mark); Edwin, Rose; Zachary, Jacob; and 3 great grandsons:  Kevin, Keigan, Kolton.
