Frances was born in Porterville, Ca to Frank and Arzella DeLaney.  She was raised in Porterville and went on to attend nursing school in Sacramento.  She met and married Estle Hopkins and moved to Los Banos and then to Turlock in 1969.  She worked for Community Hospital and later Emanuel Medical Center until her retirement. 
She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Estle, her sons, Kenny Hopkins and Cory Hopkins and her daughter, Karen Roberts.
She is survived by her daughters; Patricia Gonzales, Sam Davis and Alice Johnson.  She was a loving grandmother to her numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be private.  A funeral will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Thursday, February 14, 2013 at Turlock Funeral Home, 425 N. Soderquist Rd. Turlock.  Burial will follow at Turlock Memorial Park.
