Edsel Giles Blair

Edsel G. Blair, 83, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family on Tuesday at his Delhi residence.

 He was born September 1927 to the late Ive and Leeola Blair in Alabama. He enlisted in the United States Navy in 1944. After his honorable discharge in 1945 in San Francisco he worked for PG&E for 38 years and retired as a Foreman in 1985. He settled in Delhi 41 years ago and belonged to The Grape Growers Association and The Raisin Growers Association.

He is survived by his three children; Lindsey Kuhn of Delhi, David Preston Blair of Hollister, and Daniel Edsel Blair of Delhi; four grandchildren, and two great grandchildren with one on the way. He is also survived by two brothers Harvey and Venice Blair.
