Dorothy May Erickson-Anderson was born on November 19, 1916 and she died of natural causes in her home on September 27, 2015. Her parents were Walter and Olga Hanson of Holdrege, Nebraska, and she was one of five daughters. She was of Swedish immigrant heritage and was a member of the Evangelical Free Church her entire life. Dorothy is survived by five children, Ronald (Carol) Erickson, of Escalon, CA, Gloria (Daniel) Grell, of Chicago, IL, Philip (Mary) Anderson, of Sahuarita, AZ, Elaine (Steve) Elliott, of Turlock, CA, and Paul (Kathy) Anderson, of Longview, TX, and eighteen grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Adolph Erickson, in 1961, and by her second husband, Richard Anderson, in 2003, and daughter Barbara Erickson, in 1953.

A visitation will be held Friday, October 9, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Turlock Funeral Home Chapel, 425 N. Soderquist Rd., in Turlock. Dorothy’s memorial service will be held on October 10, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. at the same location.
