Donnel D. Gray, 84, of Delhi, passed away on Oct. 11, 2012 after an  extended illness. Donnel was born in Arkansas in 1927, the fourth of nine children. In 1944 he moved to California and the following year he  enlisted in the US Navy where he served honorably from 1945-48.
Donnel worked for the Oakland Public Schools from 1950-69 and at Valley Fresh in Turlock from 1970-94.
He was preceded in death by his parents Commodore and Pearl Gray of Turlock. Donnel is survived by his long time companion of 16 years, Winnie Bradley of Delhi, former wife of 46 years, Agnes Gray of Turlock, sisters Bobbie Sherr of Clovis, Byrdena Theis of Turlock, and Barbara Keller of Fresno, daughter Sandra Mills of Green Valley, AZ, son Keith Gray of Annapolis, MD, 4 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
