We would like to celebrate the life of a loving, wonderful woman, Donna Mae Anderson. Donna is survived by her grandchildren Alisa Hanson, Missy Vasconcellos, Ryan Burch, Amber Tribble, Christa Tribble, Faith Sundy, and Jake Styles. Also, by her 3 stepchildren, Greg Anderson, Kristen Anderson, Renel Wright, and by her daughter in-law Sandra Vasconcellos.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Rex Anderson, and by her children Karen Anderson - Arnebeck and Ronald Vasconcellos. She had a total of 7 great grandchildren, and 3 great-great grandchildren.
Donna was born in Wellston, Oklahoma on September 6, 1934,then moved with her family to sunny California when she was a young child. Moving to the Ceres area she grew up with her siblings, Joann, Jean, Louise, and Teddy. She spent her life filling everybody around her with joy, happiness and leaving a smile on the face of everyone she met. One of these people was her husband Dr. Rex Anderson who couldn’t get enough of her, and they were married in 1971. They remained deeply in love all the way up to Rex’s passing in 2019. Donna was a big part of her community volunteering at Emanuel hospital for many years, part of the soroptimist group of Turlock, and volunteering at the First United Method Church. She loved to play cards with her friends, participate in tournaments held at the Turlock Golf and Country Club, and she had a passion for cooking for her family. Donna was a big partier! She
and Rex would host parties for their friends, family, and the different organizations they were involved in at their Ranch home on the outskirts of Turlock. Family was one of the most important things to Donna, she loved each and every one of her family members like there was no tomorrow. We are sad to see her go but know that she went with peace and happiness in her heart. She was an inspiration to all of those around her and will never be
forgotten.
The celebration of life for Donna Mae Anderson will be held at 11am on Saturday September 14th, 2024, at First United Methodist Church, 1660 Arbor Way in Turlock.
