Donald Steven Stepro passed away on December 1st at the age of 63.  Donald was born in Alameda, CA on January 28, 1950 to Donald and Phyllis Stepro, preceded him in death.  Donald leaves behind two younger brothers (Dennis & James) & one sister (Cynthia), as well as four children: Donald E. Stepro (Erica), Shannon M. Gois (Mario), Jeffery R. Stepro (Julie), Sean L.S. Stepro (Amanda).  He also leaves behind ten grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Donald was active in his community and volunteered as a hospice worker.  He was retired from a career in diesel mechanics.
Graveside services will be held at Hills Ferry Cemetery in Newman, CA on December 13th at 1:00 p.m.  In Lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Phelan-McDermid Syndrome Foundation at 200 Capri Isle Blvd. Suite 7F, Venice, Florida 34292 or online at 22q13.org/j15/ in honor of Donald’s granddaughter Ella.
