Donald Raymond Olson Sr. born May 26, in 1927 in Turlock, CA. He passed away August 23, 2013. He was preceded in death by his wife Lena Lou Olson in 1988, his son Donald Raymond Olson Jr. in 2004 and his son Richard M. Olson Sr. in 2010.  He is survived by 5 grandsons; Richard M. Olson Jr. (Cherie), Donald R. Olson III (Diane), Travis W. Olson Sr. (Cassie), Aaron C. Olson, and Shand D. Olson, 12 great grandchildren and 5 great great grandchildren.
He served 4 years in the U.S. Navy during World War II. He worked 35+ years for Safeway in Turlock, CA. He enjoyed fishing and playing pool and western movies. He was a member of the Olympic Southern Baptist Church of Modesto. He was loved by all his family. As his family we rejoice that he is home with his family. Visitation will be held from 4 to 8pm today at Turlock Funeral Home, 425 N. Soderquist Rd. Turlock. A graveside service will be held at 11am on Wednesday, Aug. 28 at Turlock Memorial Park.
