Daniel Lee Medeiros, 66, passed away suddenly August 23, 2024, after a recent illness.

The son of Manuel and Rosemarie Medeiros, he was born June 25, 1958, in Turlock, CA. 

He attended Chatom Elementary and Turlock High School, graduating in 1976, He spent his career in farming and construction, including working on the Medeiros family farm, Medeiros & Sons’ Melons, and owning his own business, Medeiros Concrete & Construction, for 22 years. 

He enjoyed riding motorcycles, golf, fishing, and trapshooting. He also loved to travel and especially enjoyed the ocean and swimming. 

A life highlight was his wedding to Christine on a catamaran yacht on Santa Cruz Bay. 

He was an avid 49ers and SF Giants fan. 

His one regret was never getting to visit the Azores and connecting with family there.

He is survived by his spouse Christine, siblings Pam McFadden (Tom), Vicki Oliveira (Dan), and Marvin Medeiros (Joyce); and his children: Daniel Medeiros, Jr. (Danae); Jared Medeiros; Mikayla Medeiros; Maci Medeiros; Andy Urquidez; and Miles Urquidez; as well as nine grandchildren, and pugs Moose and Sampson. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Manuel and Rosemarie Medeiros as well as his pugs Jake and Jilly.

Visitation will be at the Turlock Funeral Home Chapel, Monday, September 9, 2024, at 5:00 p.m., with a Rosary at 6:00 p.m. 

Services will be held Tuesday, September 10, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. at Turlock Funeral Home Chapel. For more information, call (209) 632-9111.
