Clare Yohannan, 84, of Turlock passed away on Wednesday, Dec. 30 at Emanuel Medical Center.
She was born in Chicago, Ill. to Aram and Asyat Sargis in 1925. Clare was married to Arthur Yohannan in 1947. She was a registered nurse in Illinios, Michigan, New York and California. Clare was a member of the Eastern Star and attended First Presbyterian Church in Turlock.
Clare is survived by her husband, Arthur; children, Carol Yohannan and Elizabeth (Greg) Byrd; grandchildren, Rick, Joshua, Justin and Kristen; and great grandchildren, Jillian, Bella and Zoe.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 6 at First Presbyterian Church. Burial will be at Turlock Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Braille Institute, 741 N. Vermont Ave., Los Angeles, CA 90029-3594.
