Chandra W. Singh, 80 of Los Angeles, passed away on Saturday at Country Oaks Convalescent Center in Pomona. Chandra was born in the Fiji Islands, and migrated to the U.S. in 1989.
Chandra is survived by one sister, Mahadai Prasad of Fiji Islands; children, Vijay (Rajindar) Kaur of Sacramento, Harjit (Premila Peir) Singh of Turlock, Ratan Kaur of Turlock, Prakash Kaur of Los Angeles, Harbhajan Kaur and Gora Singh of Los Angeles, Harjeet Kumar, Satish Kumar of Turlock, 22 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, numerous nephews and nieces in Fiji, New Zealand, Australia, USA, Canada and India.
Viewing will be held from noon to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 10 at Allen Mortuary. A funeral will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 11 at Allen Mortuary.
