Carol Ann Cockrell was born in Clovis, New Mexico on April 16, 1955.

She was 69 years old when she passed away in Turlock, California on October 20, 2024.

Carol was a Doctor of Pharmacy, graduating from the University of the Pacific School of Pharmacy Summa Cum Laude in 1989. Carol was a non-traditional student having gone back to Pharmacy school after working as a Chemist for Royal Dutch Shell for several years with two young children.

She was a practicing Pharmacist for 35 years. Carol loved to spend time with her children and grandchildren. She enjoyed sports, especially 49ers football, skiing, playing the piano, horseback riding, reading, completing a crossword puzzle, gardening her peppers, cooking or baking anything Southwestern as well as taking her children to all their sports activities growing up and being involved in her grandchildren’s lives. Carol had a passion for Native American causes, animals and loved her dogs as well as her Appaloosa, Cindy. Carol is fondly remembered as caring more for others than she cared for herself. Carol’s happiness was found in the enrichment of those around her.

Carol is survived by her mother, Betty (95), brother, Joel (71) her two sons, A.R. (45) and Dino (40), and her seven grandchildren, Aya (11) Thorsen (10) Janna (8) Freyja (7) Dahlia (5) Dean (3) and Solveig (1).

Carol is preceded in death by her father Dr. Lloyd Cockrell and her beloved brother, Thomas “Wade” Cockrell.
