Brandon Bettencourt, born on February 29, 1988, in Turlock, California, passed away at the age of 36 on September 12, 2024.

Brandon was a devoted father, cherished by his daughter Madilynn Blair. He grew up in Turlock, where he attended Turlock High School before attending some college at Sacramento City College. From a young age, he was an avid wrestler, beginning at the age of 5, and later became an undefeated MMA fighter. Brandon was known for his big, kind heart and his love for adventure and sports. His loyalty extended deeply to his friends and family. He was a life of the party, always ensuring those around him had a good time.

He is survived by his daughter, Madilynn Blair; his mother, Gina Tuckey; step-father, Rob Tuckey; father, Greg Bettencourt; step-mother, Marlene Bettencourt; sister, Amy Gilbreath and her husband Luke; and stepsiblings, Alyssa Silva (Manuel), Brandon Xavier (Jill), and Erica Xavier. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Eugene LaPertche, Glenda Cato, Gary Cato, Maria Amelia Bettencourt, Antonio Bettencourt; and his uncle, Danny LaPertche.

Brandon was a member of Our Lady of the Assumption Catholic Church in Turlock, CA.

A visitation will be held on Monday, September 23, 2024, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Turlock Funeral Home. A Rosary and Funeral Mass are scheduled for Tuesday, September 24, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of the Assumption Catholic Church in Turlock, CA. Following the service, Brandon will be laid to rest at Turlock memorial Park.

Brandon’s legacy of joy, loyalty, and love will forever be remembered by those who knew him.
