Bill Green passed away in Marysville, Washington after a long battle with Cancer. Completing his Vietnam tour with the United States Army in 1969, he began a 30 year career in the electronics distribution industry. His work took him to Michigan, Colorado, Utah, Nevada, Washington, Oregon and California. He spent 12 years in Turlock. While living there he held the position of Business Manager for The Turlock Salvation Army.

He also held a similar position at the Turlock Journal. He later purchased the Turlock Sears Hometown store which he ran for 9 years along with his wife, Ginny. While in Turlock he was a member of Kiwanis Club of Turlock, volunteered with the Turlock Police Department VIP’s and was an active member of The Salvation Army Turlock Advisory Board.

He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Ginny Green, 3 daughters and 6 grandchildren.
