Family and friends are invited to memorial services for Anne Lehigh Harris, 90, of Turlock at 11 a.m. on July 25 at the First United Methodist Church, 1660 Arbor Way, Turlock.
Anne was born June 16, 1918, in San Francisco to William and Marie Lehikoinen (later changed to Lehigh). She attended San Francisco schools through high school, and following a business course, worked at the Federal Reserve Bank. On Oct. 9, 1943, Anne was married to Robert “Bob” J. Harris. In 1950, following Bob’s return from WW II and his graduation from veterinary school, they made their home in Turlock, a town that Anne remembered visiting as a child.
Anne was active in the United Methodist Church, PTA, PEO, and the Veterinary Auxiliary.
Anne is survived by her husband of 64 years, Robert Harris; daughter, Carol (Randy) Huth of Turlock; sons, Kenneth Harris of Ashland, Ore. and James Harris of Turlock; grandchildren, Celia Harris, Eric Harris, Annaliesa Harris, Mia Huth and Chad Harris; step-grandchildren, Ron Jones, Mike Jones and Jane Jones; and five step great-grandchildren.
