Albert B. Litfin, a resident of Turlock, passed away at Emanuel Medical Center on Monday, December 21, 2020. He was 77 years old.
Albert was born in Kruppen, Poland to Emielie Litfin and Robert Litfin, Sr. He grew up on Patricia Lane in Modesto and, after enlisting in the US Army, received his GED. Albert worked for Frank Souza Construction for approximately 15 years before partnering up and opening his own construction company, Anderson-Litfin, Inc. He retired in 2013.
In his spare time, Albert enjoyed boating, hunting, deep sea fishing, horseback riding, and any activities he could participate in with his family. He was a member of Turlock SIR, Wino’s, and the Turlock Country Club.
Albert married the love of his life, Carol Litfin, on October 29, 1967 at the Turlock Methodist Church. They were married for 53 beautiful years.
Along with his loving wife, Carol, Albert is survived by his two daughters, Carrie Menefee of Ripon and Tami Combs of San Jose; sons-in-law, Charles Combs and Eric Agurcia; and granddaughters, Riley and Reece Menefee and Bella and Avery Combs. He also leaves behind his brother, Robert Litfin of Lodi, and sister, Hilda Stelter of Oregon.
Albert was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Oscar and Gus Litfin.
A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, January 9, 2021, at Turlock Funeral Home, 425 N. Soderquist Rd., Turlock. Following the service, Albert will be laid to rest at Turlock Memorial Park.
