At approximately 7:25 p.m. on Thursday, multiple units from the responded to a residential structure fire on the 1300 block of Estrella Way. Upon arrival, Engine 34 reported visible smoke and flames emerging from the residence.
Incident Command was established and promptly coordinated assignments for the responding companies. The crews demonstrated exceptional teamwork and efficiency, successfully containing the fire and preventing it from spreading to neighboring homes.
Following the suppression efforts, the Fire Investigation Unit determined the blaze to be an accidental fire. Two dogs were lost in the incident. One adult resident was displaced from the home and received assistance from the American Red Cross.
