·         The Turlock Fire Department responded to a vehicle fire on Highway 99 on Monday.

The department dispatched one engine and a squad vehicle at 4:10 p.m. for a vehicle that was fully engulfed in flames on the highway, north of Lander Avenue. The fire was contained to the vehicle and all the occupants were able to exit without injury.

·         All Turlock Fire units were dispatched to a structure fire in the 1200 block of Estates Drive around 9:30 p.m. Thursday. The first firefighters at the scene found heavy smoke and fire coming from the garage.

The fire was brought under control within 30 minutes. Four occupants were displaced from the fire and there were no reported injuries.

Through the resource sharing partners the department received one additional engine, one quint, and one battalion chief. Crews worked for an extended period of time conducting overhaul of the fire building.
