After nearly a year of waiting, Turlock residents looking for some family-friendly entertainment will soon be able to jump for joy. The construction of Get Air Indoor Trampoline Park on Turlock’s westside is well underway and nearing completion, and the company is on the hunt for employees to work at the city’s newest attraction.
Located at 1300 W. Main St. next to Planet Fitness, the location is a 12,000-square foot facility that, when finished, will be home to plenty of trampolines, a dodge ball court, foam pits and a ninja warrior course with spider walls, a slackline, monkey rings, a rock-climbing wall and a cliffhanger.
The park was originally meant to open last fall following approval from the City in September, but after running into multiple permit issues, the project was delayed.
According to Ashley Evers, district manager for Get Air’s Pacific Region, construction is expected to be completed within the next week, with the park’s trampolines and other features being installed shortly after. The park is scheduled to open its doors to the public during the first weekend in July.
“We’re slated for a soft opening next weekend, and a full, grand opening in early July,” said Evers.
The new Get Air is aiming to hire approximately 30 individuals, according to marketing specialist Morgan Davenport, and the hiring process has already begun.
“The new park has already provided many jobs throughout the construction and development phases, so we're excited to offer even more jobs to the community once we open,” said Davenport.
For those interested in working at Get Air, the park will be hosting two job fairs at the facility this weekend, from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. on both Saturday and Sunday. Those interested in a job can also apply at www.getairturlock.com.
